Our Flute Retreat in Japan 2016 is an innovative and unique course. There will be a wide range of classes to participate in together which give everyone sensational experiences to observe, aware, and learn from not only themselves but also from others.
There are two ways in which to attend the course. The "Participant" option is the basic course. The “Performer” option will give you the opportunity to practise what you have learnt in a masterclass with William Bennett.

Learn the effective performance practice and important information about the body from "Body Mapping"- the art of movement in music, based on neuroscience.
Breathing
呼吸クラス
毎朝30分間、呼吸のマッピングや手軽にできる呼吸ワークを
おこないます。
管楽器奏者がおちいりがちな
「呼吸についての誤認や不必要な知識」をリマッピング。
カラダの内部からおこるダイナミックな動きから全身の協調作用を感じとり「深い呼吸」で1日のスタートです。 （講師：長井芽乃）
For 30 minutes every morning, we will look at body mapping for breathing and undertake some easy breathing exercises. This involves re-mapping or re-learning about the "misunderstanding and unnecessary information about breathing". A great start to the day from deep breathing and feeling the operation of breathing through the dynamic movements from inside the body.

マスタークラス
伝統的なクラシック音楽を世界中に伝えてきたウイリアム・ベネット氏。
彼の持つ豊かで愛情あふれんばかりの表現方法を直接指導していただく
公開マスタークラスです。またこのクラスではボディ・マッピングの見地からのサポートによっても彼の音楽の世界をその場で体現できることでしょう。

Open masterclasses with William Bennett, who has been teaching the traditional classical music throughout the world for over 50 years. Each performer can personally experience Mr Bennett’s great love for music and his rich musical expression.
In addition, you will experience his musical world supported from the viewpoint of Body Mapping.

Learn the fundamentals of music through lectures and demonstration which will help you express your music more vividly. In combination with Mr Bennett’s masterclasses, you will be able to interpret music with a clear understanding and more diverse range of expression.

カラダ・リセット
手軽なカラダのリセット法でバランスのとれた演奏しやすいカラダにチューンナップしましょう。 (講師：長井芽乃)
For ease and comfort in performance, reset your body back to being well-balanced by following a simple method.
Activity
アクティビティ
演奏するカラダに役立つボディワーク。基礎体力の向上。
音楽に必要な身体感覚が体験できる乗馬etc...「つま恋」ならではの
体験学習によってリズム感や音楽表現へと発展させます。 (希望者のみ自由選択)
（体験内容：ノルディックウォーク、スイミング、乗馬、ひめトレなど）
Exercise is useful for the performing body. It can help improve one’s physical strength.
Horse riding involves use of the necessary senses of the body to perform music. The following learning experiences that can only be found at "Tsumagoi" help develop one’s sense of rhythm and musical expression: Nordic Walk, swimming, horse riding, Hime-tore (stretch-pole exercise) etc.

After his mini concert on September 10th, let's celebrate Mr. William Bennett's 80th birthday together!

最終日にはベネット氏と受講生全員によるフルート・アンサンブルの
共演でしめくくります♪
On the final day, all students will perform in a flute choir led by Mr. Bennett.

(全ての講座に参加 ＋ウイリアム・ベネット氏による公開マスタークラス１回受講)
●公式伴奏者はおりますが、日頃共演されているご自分の伴奏者やアンサンブルメンバー
と共にパフォーマーとして受講することも可能です。
※伴奏者同伴・アンサンブルでご参加の場合:
メンバー全ての方がパーティシパントの料金をお支払いください。
代表者はパーフォーマー料金として＋￥30,000円をお支払いください。
